Job Title:  Project Manager & Production Scheduler

Location:  Spartanburg, SC

Salary:    $90k – 105k + Bonus



New Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Project Manager & Production Scheduler to lead their team!

 


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Management: Oversee project planning and execution, including resource allocation, timeline tracking, and progress reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

• Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, resource availability, and operational capacity, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.

• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with supply chain, production, and quality control teams to ensure alignment on material needs, production targets, and project milestones.

• Resource Planning: Monitor and adjust schedules to manage workload distribution effectively, coordinating with procurement to avoid material shortages and ensure timely availability.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that increase production efficiency and reduce lead times, utilizing lean manufacturing principles where applicable.

• Risk Management: Anticipate potential bottlenecks and proactively develop mitigation plans to address issues that could impact production or project timelines.

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Track production data to assess performance metrics, generate reports, and present updates to leadership, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.



QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. 

• 4+ years of experience in project management or production scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC environment.

• Strong understanding of production planning, project management principles, and lean manufacturing practices.

• Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Requires 10% LOCAL travel
