Position:        Business Development Senior Specialist

Location:        New York, NY (Hybrid)

Salary:              90k – 110k + Bonus

 

NYC based Law Firm seeks a Business Development Senior Specialist to join their Team!

 

Summary:

The Marketing and Business Development Senior Specialist works closely with the leadership team to execute business development projects, programs, and activities to market the strengths and capabilities of the firm. This position provides strategic support to litigation and corporate practice groups with various business development and marketing initiatives, including targeted client outreach, webinars, sponsorships, directory submissions, and proposals and pitches.

 

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Conducting targeted research and competitive analysis to support business development efforts. 
  • Support preparation of high-quality pitches, proposals and RFP responses, including researching firm and partner experience, strategizing and articulating key message points, and highlighting differentiators.
  • Administering short- and long-term business development initiatives while improving processes and efficiencies.
  • Coordinating and drafting submissions for directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, GRR, GCR.).
  • Maintaining various tracking systems and databases, including pitch tracker, collateral library and experience database.
  • Assist with special marketing projects needed. 

 

 Requirements:  

  • Strong project management skills needed to manage multiple projects, both short- and long-term, to support business development initiatives.
  • Strong marketing technology experience and aptitude. 
  • 4+ years of experience in professional services (law firm BD experience preferred).
  • B.A./B.S. in related field.
  • Fluency in French, preferred
