Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Global luxury fashion brand seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to lead its AP function and support our growing international operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process across domestic and international entities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments while managing a small AP team.
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume domestic and international vendor invoices.
- Monitor AP aging and manage vendor payment schedules.
- Review and approve payment runs including ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Oversee employee expense reporting through Concur, ensuring policy compliance and proper documentation.
- Review and approve expense reports, manage reimbursements, and address discrepancies.
- Manage AP processes within NetSuite, ensuring accurate coding, vendor setup, and system optimization.
- Partner with Finance and IT teams to improve AP workflows and automation.
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with tax and documentation requirements.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders including merchandising, operations, and logistics teams.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
- Support international vendors and cross-border payments.
- Supervise and mentor AP staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Allocate workload and ensure adherence to deadlines and service standards.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities including accruals and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree desired
- 5–8+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience managing employee expenses through Concur.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP.
- Experience in retail, fashion, luxury goods, or consumer products industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AP best practices, internal controls, and vendor management.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems proficiency.
