Position: FP & A Analyst
Location: Midtown, NY

Luxury Jewelry Manufacturing retail/distributor seeks new FP&A Associate to join their Team!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Partner with functional departments (e.g., manufacturing, sales, marketing, operations) to gather inputs and assumptions for forecasting processes.
- Assist in developing rolling forecasts to account for evolving business dynamics and market conditions.
- Coordinate annual budgeting processes, including timeline management, data consolidation, and variance analysis.
- Analyze budget vs. actual performance by department, product line, and region.
- Provide insights into key cost drivers, revenue trends, and margin performance.
- Prepare monthly financial performance dashboards and executive reports with detailed variance commentary.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Support weekly and monthly sales, margin, and inventory reporting across channels (retail, wholesale, e-commerce).
- Extract, analyze, and manipulate data from Microsoft Dynamics (AX, NAV, or D365) to support financial planning and analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy and alignment between the ERP system and financial reporting tools.
- Work closely with IT and operations teams to optimize ERP reporting workflows and enhance FP&A efficiency
- Partner with supply chain and inventory management teams to assess working capital efficiency, product cost structures, and SKU-level profitability.
- Analyze bill of materials (BOM), labor costs, and overhead allocations for margin improvement opportunities
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)

Experience: 3–6 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, preferably in luxury goods or jewelry manufacturing.

ERP Systems: Advanced experience with Microsoft Dynamics (AX, NAV, or D365) is required.

Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling), and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platforms.
- Understanding of cost accounting, BOMs, SKU-level margin analysis
- Experience with multi-channel sales environments (retail, wholesale, DTC)
